As Multiversus dropped the gameplay trailer of Marceline-the Vampire Queen on December 17, 2024, the entire gaming world is dancing to the beats of her guitar. Yes, this is the fourth Adventure Time character after Finn, one of the strongest fighters, Jake, the Dog, and the unexpected, Banana Gaurd that has been added to the multiverse of MultiVersus.
MultiVersus: The Vampire Queen Trailer Review
As revealed in the trailer, Marceline, more famously known as the Vampire Queen is a chirpy 1000-year vamp who is not mean, but, has lost track of her moral code of conduct. She is a bruiser queen who uses her guitar to overcome the challenges that come her way. Her special moves include the Flying Elbow Drop and the Stance Swap. She is shown making her way through the challenges using her ability to mutate into a vampire as well as using her trusty bass axe, beating the enemies.
The trailer begins with Shaggy and Jake, the dog chilling as the Marceline enters, morphed as a vampire. The background shows warning signs as she changes herself to a 1000-year-old beauty. She is shown smashing her foes through her guitar and other variety of attacks.
The trailer also reveals one of her different variants- The Sun Hot Variant. Other than that, as the makers revealed, she comes in Cat Sweater and Distant Land Variant.
When to Get Her?
Marceline, the Vampire Queen is already available in early access from December 17, 2024, for 1000 Gleamium, $9.99, one character ticket (for Founder’s Pack owners), $29.99 (bundle with character, skin, and related items. She will be fully accessible from December 20, 2024, for 6,000 Fighter Currency. She is launched as a playable character as a part of Season 4 of MultiVersus called The Midnight Misfits.
The Map Reveal in MultiVersus
Other than the launch of Marceline-the Vampire Queen, MultiVersus has also unlocked a new map, the iconic Candy Kingdom Map from Adventure Time. This map is also available from December 17th, 2024. Now, what awaits is the Rogue Rifts, the PvE Rift which will be available later in the season.
