However, fear soon prevails when two Rathalos hatch where only one was expected. These fraternal twins possess a distinctively marked link to a cursed war of two hundred years ago.

Meanwhile, the planet is going through a tough time and animals of many species are on the verge of extinction. The two nations confront one another with their swords drawn, and the world is dependent on those twin Rathalos. One Rider gets a very close connection with a Rathalos. They set off on a journey to discover the truth behind the twins, the war, and the world’s crisis together.
