Mojang has just revealed the biggest graphical upgrade coming to Minecraft after 15 years. During the latest Minecraft Live Stream, Chief Creative Officer Jens Bergensten revealed the Minecraft Vibrant Visuals Update. Minecraft Vibrant Visuals Features & Improvements

Jens Bergensten revealed Vibrant Visuals as a major graphical overhaul for vanilla Minecraft. Developed by Mojang with the help of new talent bringing a sort of realism to the world of Minecraft. As players over the years have reworked the in-game textures, shaders, and elements to mod the game with more realistic visuals. This is the first time in 15 years that Minecraft has received a major overhaul of its graphics including the lighting, shadows, textures, water effects, weather effects & more.

Vibrant Visuals update for Minecraft will change how reflections are seen across the blocky world, with sunlight shining through tress, windows, water and more. Elements and objects will have real time shadows and the overall draw distance will be changed to deliver a much realer feel to the game.

Minecraft Vibrant Visuals Release Date & Platforms

As announced by Mojang, there is no set date for the Vibrant Visuals update for Minecraft as of yet. For now, the Update will be available for the Minecraft: Bedrock Edition followed by a future release on the Java Version of the game. Players will be able to test out the Minecraft Vibrant Visuals very soon with the Beta/Testing version of the game. As for the platform on which the update will be released is not concrete, with the update still being under development and testing. We can expect the update to be available on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, Mac, High-end mobile devices & tablets, and probably the Nintendo Switch.
