Things are about to get wild! Originally planned for a December 2024 Steam release, Midnight Murder Club, a first-person shooter party game is finally going to be released in early access. As it launches, it is all set to throw 1-6 players into total darkness inside Wormwood Manor. Your only light? A flashlight and the split-second flash of gunfire. Revealed in June as a hide-and-seek FPS game, the game’s release got delayed, with players only getting a crossover beta until now. But, Velan Studios has finally revealed the Midnight Murder Club’s Early Access launch date along with a new gameplay mode, that will take the hide-and-seek showdown to the next level.
Midnight Murder Club Early Access And New Game Mode
After a delay, Midnight Murder Club Early Access is finally set to launch on March 13, 2025, for PC and PS5 players. Players who have hopped onto the beta version would know that the game already packs four game modes, namely, Free for All, Thief in the Night, Team Deathmatch, and Headhunters. As the game releases in Early Access, it is all set to bring in a new twist with a new game mode, called the Wildcards.
The Wildcards game mode will let players break rules like never before. In this mode, players will be able to play cards that shake up the game, altering the rules of the party. From hijacking vendor toys to turning everyone into speed demons or even exploding on death, Chaos will always be on the cards in this new mode. After each match, players will earn new cards to add to the madness, making the game all the more exciting.

Along with the Early Access, Velan Studios has also confirmed the Midnight Murder Club Guest Pass Edition which will make teaming up with friends a lot more easier. With the Guest pass, players will be able to invite up to five other players for free. With no restrictions or catches, players will get to play with their friends and hop onto pure chaos in public and private matches with the Midnight Murder Club Game Pass.
