Ocean Drive Studios has announced their next title, God Save Birmingham, a Zombie Survival game set in Medieval England in the 14th Century. God Save Birmingham takes the concept of the plague in medieval England and spins it upside down by turning it into a virus that has torn down most civilizations across the world and taken a grip on the city of Birmingham.
Story and Setting
Not much is known about the story of God Save Birmingham other than the setting, which takes place during 14th Century England with most of civilisation wiped out due to an advanced version of the Plague, which has turned the populous into horrifying Zombies. Players will have to survive alone in a desolate market town that has been overrun by the Undead, and your only chance to survive is by scavenging for resources, crafting items, and surviving by any means necessary. With no guns or modern weaponry in the game, players will have to rely on older tools of the trade like Swords, Pitchforks, Axes and more Medieval weaponry to fend off these threats.
The game will be released with an Early Access version that focuses on a sandbox experience set in a small portion of the town. The entire town will be available during the official release of God Save Birmingham, with a campaign mode coming later to complete the experience.
