Limbus Company Character Roles Explained
Struggling to beat a particular boss? It’s likely that your team is not optimized to take on the challenge. Each Limbus Company character is assigned a role, according to which they function. Players can use different characters of differing roles to craft a strong team. Naturally, you will need to know what each role does. Limbus Company character roles are as follows:
- Damage Dealer – The touted DPS characters are the ones that are most in demand in any meta. These often form the backbone of any strong Limbus Company team. Their only goal is to deal as much damage as possible within the shortest time period.
- Status Specialist – Wondering which characters help in controlling enemies and inflicting debuffs? Well, this is done by status specialists. They have a huge arsenal of powerful debuffs that can turn the tide of battle in your favour.
- Support – Imagine getting healed and buffed in critical situations where your allies are about to die. That’s exactly what Support characters put on the table. Each team has at least 1 or 2 supports to keep the team functioning for a longer time.
- Tank – Tank characters are a must if you want to build a solid Limbus Company team. These characters stand strong in the frontlines, and fulfill the role of absorbing the majority of the damage for your backliners. Hence, you should try putting at least 1 Tanky character in the team.
Limbus Company Tier List Factors
Like we mentioned before, we took the help of several factors while building our Limbus Company tier list. These factors are like metrics that we tracked for each character to place them in individual tiers. The ones who rank higher are put into higher tiers, and vice-versa. Check out the factors we used:
- Rarity – Each character in Limbus Company is assigned a base rarity. This is what decided their base stats like attack, defense, and HP. The higher the rarity, the more base stats a character will have.
- Team Utility – We took into account what type of utility each character brings to the table. If the character filled in more than one role, we automatically think that they are more useful. Hence, they are ranked higher on the tiers.
- Community Rankings – Since this Limbus Company tier list is built for the community at large, we decided to take into account the rankings of characters done by the community. This was done in the form of tier lists, and meta character rankings.
