In relation to Sony’s latest State of Play, the company today confirmed a release date for Lego Horizon Adventures. A colorful, family-friendly spin on the action-adventure game Horizon: Zero Dawn. It will drop on November 14, 2024, an astonishing 14 days after the remaster of the latest Horizon Zero Dawn hits play on October 31.
Lego Horizon Adventures Release Date and Platforms
First spotted by way of Insider Gaming in May, Lego Horizon Adventures has now become an official title from the publisher and was confirmed during June’s Summer Game Fest. While this may seem like an unlikely pairing, Lego and Horizon have teamed up before. The popular Tallneck set by Lego was released last year, featuring a minifig based on the game’s protagonist, Aloy. Now, the two brands are taking it further by releasing the game.
Recent State of Play also announced that Horizon Adventures will come for Nintendo Switch, PS5, and PC on 14th November 2024.
A Cuter Spin on Horizon: Zero Dawn
The new game trailer is a colorful, family-friendly co-op action game perfect for younger crowds or anyone who wants a more casual gaming experience. Lego Horizon Adventures follows another light-hearted appearance of the franchise within Astro Bot wherein it appeared in a level cameo. Sony does not seem to be done exploring the world of Horizon: Zero Dawn with several approaches from the serious remasters to the fun, whimsical adaptations.
Horizon Zero Dawn Remaster and Lego Horizon Adventures: A Double Whammy
Sony also confirmed the long-rumored Horizon Zero Dawn remaster will drop October 31, allowing fans to replay the original game on PS5 and PC before jumping into the much cuter Lego version just two weeks later. It’s clear that Sony is establishing Horizon as a major franchise, with multiple games, remakes, and adaptations catering to different audiences.
