Keighley confirmed the news and noted that Kojima was there for the first Game Awards back in 2014 and the creator isn’t gonna be missing the 10th anniversary of the show.
Kojima is currently working on Death Stranding 2 and fans can expect more information and possibly some gameplay footage of the new game at the show. The chances of a reveal date are highly unlikely as it’s hinted that be revealed sometime in 2025. The sequel was last presented at the Tokyo Game Show as part of the PlayStation presentation.
