The latest Helldivers 2 Warbond is here, and it’s straight Illumiante tech reengineered as Helldiver gear. From Super Earth’s Ministry of Defence Research, the new warbond includes new armor sets, two new weapons, strategems, capes, and more. Arrowhead is waiving high on the back of the last Heart of Democracy Update. Which brought about the invasion of Super Earth from the Illuminate Armada. Helldivers 2 Control Group Warbond
Crafted by the Ministry of Defence Research & Development, from deep research into Illuminate Technology. Helldivers have been granted access to field test experimental new gear and test out their effectiveness in combat. The Control Group Warbond includes:
New Weapons & Stratagem
VG-70 Rifle: A reminiscence of the good old days, blunderbuss. The VG-70 is a seven-barreled volley gun with three distinct fire modes.
- Auto: Adjustable RPM (3 levels)
- Volley: Fires one shot from each barrel simultaneously
- Total: Dumps all remaining ammo at once (warning: may injure user!)
PLAS-45 Epoch: A tech marvel, the PLAS-45 is a support shoulder-mounted plasma weapon. Which fires focused spheres of straight plasma energy and rains destruction within its crosshairs. Warning: The weapons can explode upon overcharging. No Safe Mode Available! But we are sure you can handle it, right?
G-31 Arc Grenade: A bouncing Betty with the shock factor. A lightweight grenade, the G-31 Arc bounces off surfaces while discharging electric shocks that strike enemies within the Helldiver Proximity.
A/Las-98 Laser Sentry: Replacing the ammunition canister on a standard machine gun sentry. The A/Las-98 is replaced with a supersized heatsink for infinite laser fire. While effective in chopping down enemies to size, overheating can lead to an explosion of the device, just like any laser weapon.
New Stratagem
LIFT-182 Warp Pack: Perhaps the most exciting new tech from the Ministry of Defence Research is the brand new Helldivers 2 Stratagem, the LIFT-182 Warp Pack. Renginered by learning the science behind the Illumiante technology and the Meridian singularity. The LIFT-182 Warp Pack Strategem harnesses the Dark Fluid Energy to generate a temporary wormhole that can teleport the helldiver over short distances. When deployed, the pack pulls the wearer into a singularity, dematerializes, and rematerializes in a new location.
(Wearer discretion is advised as an experimental device as the Warp Pack can be rather unstable, and things can go wrong (Death*) upon excessive use.

Control Group Warbond Release Date & Summary
The latest Helldivers 2 Control Group Warbond will arrive on July 17th for the PlayStation 5 and PC. Players will have to visit the acquisition section of their menu to gain access to the Control Group Warbond Pack.
