A piece of recent insider news has hinted that the Xbox Exclusive, Halo video game series might finally be coming to PlayStation. Halo: The Masterchief Collection which was exclusive to the Xbox consoles and PC is just inches closer to release on the PlayStation 5 console. It seems that Xbox is finally going ahead with its revamped game release plan for 2025. Xbox executives now showing interest in releasing the previous Xbox-exclusive franchises & games to release on Sony’s PlayStation 5. The news comes from a credible insider from the gaming community.
The Insider, NateTheHate reported Microft’s plan for a port of The Halo Master Chief Collection for the PlayStation 5 along with the game’s release on the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2. Speaking to Bloomberg, Phil Spencer of Xbox when asked multiplatform jump of Xbox titles to other consoles said every Xbox game is up for grabs when it comes to making the multiplatform jump. Halo: The Master Chief Collection is a series of Xbox exclusive titles all packed into one giant collection developed by 343 Industries and Published by Xbox Game Studios. The collection includes 6 mainstream Halo Games with remastered graphics, Multiplayer modes, revamped gameplay mechanics, and additional content.

- Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary – The remastered version of the original Halo title with improved graphics, audio, and features along with the ability to toggle between retro and updated visuals.
