After your purchase, you will get an email with a serial code, which is a special access key that you can use to unlock the game, make an account, and start your adventure.
Once you have your serial code, download the game and create a Guild Wars account by following the steps listed below:
- Download the Guild Wars client.
- To install the Guild Wars client on your computer, run GwSetup.exe.
- Launch the game.
- Click the “Create Account or Add Access Key” link to the login screen.
5. On this screen, you can add an Access key to an existing Guild Wars account or create a new one. Check the box next to “Create a new Guild Wars account.” If this is your first time creating an account, then click Next.
6. After choosing your region, enter the 25-digit serial number. Before selecting Next to continue, check your code again to make sure it is correct.
7. The following screen will show all of the features and additional items that you are about to unlock on your account. Review the list and click Add.
8. Enter your area and mailing address next. This helps us confirm account ownership, which is required in certain parts of the world. Click Next when you have finished filling out all the fields.
9. Lastly, create an account with a password and email address. Note these credentials, as they will serve as your login once you click “Create” to finish the registration process.
10. You’re done!
