Grab It Before It’s Gone: NASCAR Games to be Delisted Soon

A piece of shocking news coming straight from Motorsports Games and their beloved NASCAR series of games. Recently announcing on X, the devs announced the delisting of all NASCAR games including NASCAR Heat, Ignition, and Rivals are soon to be delisted by the end of the year. While not being an end to the NASCAR Series, this sure does mark the end for Motorsports games and their long-standing American racing franchise.

In their X post, Motorsports Games stated “From December 31, 2024, all NASCAR game titles under their banner including all DLC content will no longer be available to purchase on any digital stores but the games will still be available to play even after Dec 31st”

The news might unsettle many but it’s not something to worry about as all the NASCAR Titles including NASCAR Heat, NASCAR Ignitio,n and NASCAR Rivals will still work as normal and can be played on their respective platforms. The announcement came after the transfer of the NASCAR IP from Motorsports game to a new studio. The devs also thanked their fans and the community for their enthusiasm and support for these games over the years in a heartfelt goodbye.

This announcement sparks a new era of NASCAR games that will kick off in 2025. With the NASCAR IP in the hands of Iracing, the studio behind the development of NASCAR 25. The studio now holds the rights to the NASCAR license and will be releasing the next entry or we can say a new dawn of NASCAR games come fall 2025. The next game in the long list of titles will be released across all modern platforms like the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
