The trailer was just revealed and it’s making us go bananas. The first look at Ghost of Yotei features mountains, a blood-thirsty wolf and bloodstained snow, that makes us wonder what’s actually going on. Truly, the stunning visuals and the energy are just at a different level. Moreover, the characters, the beasts, the landscapes; everything is on point. It gives off a vibe that cannot be explained!

Ghost of Yotei will be released in 2025, but the exact date hasn’t been revealed yet. The developer, Sucker Punch, will hopefully declare the date soon! We are also expecting more official media and gameplay trailers!

Ghost of Yotei is set in a new region of Japan in 1603, 300 years after the events of the first game. The exact location is the area surrounding Mount Yotei, a towering peak in the heart of Ezo. Furthermore, it’s full of beautiful grasslands and snowy tundras, but it’s also dangerous. This area is known as Hokkaido in present-day Japan.
A New Protagonist
The protagonist of Ghost of Yotei is finally revealed! Her name is Atsu, a female rōnin! This character means an entirely new storyline, and that’s super exciting. There, we will see Atsu exploring places around Mount Yotei and deciding her fate.
