Forza Horizon 5 on PS5 is coming with a new free content update across all platforms, called Horizon Realms. This feature will allow players to discover a handpicked collection of Evolving Worlds, along with some new surprises. There are 11 Evolving Worlds, such as Stunt Park, Neon Airstrip, and Retro Highway etc.
Most importantly, the game includes over 900 cars, 40 thematic updates, 2 expansions, 60 challenges, new locations, and a new track. It boasts realistic driving, an incredible range of activities, a progression system, and stunning visuals.
Furthermore, Forza Horizon 5 on PS5 will offer the same content as on Xbox and PC, along with car packs, Hot Wheels, rally adventure expansions, and reward cars. Additionally, players can drive in two modes, named Skill mode and Free mode. The former allows players to rack up skill scores and climb the leaderboard, while the latter lets players take it easy and cruise through the environment without scoreboard pressure.

PlayStation 5 players can enjoy Forza Horizon 5 in two rendering modes. Performance and Quality with 60 FPS and 30 FPS, respectively, on both PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Pro.
For what it’s worth, PS5 Pro, Quality mode enhances visuals in races and Free Roam by adding ray-traced car reflections. On the contrary, Performance mode prioritizes smoother gameplay with a target of 60 FPS and improved overall rendering for an even more immersive ride.
Moreover, for DualSense and DualSense Edge controllers, Forza Horizon 5 supports vibration function and trigger effect, for higher fidelity wheel of slip, threshold breaking, and surface changes.
Forza Horizon 5 PS5 New Cars
Forza Horizon 5 PS5 comes with four new reward cars to be unlocked on completion of Horizon Realms accolades. These include:
- 2024 Lamborghini Revuelto
- 2023 Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato
- 2022 Hennessey Mammoth 6×6
- 2018 Lotus Exige Cup 430
On top of that, a new car pack called Nissan Retro Rides Car Pack will be available in the Ultimate Car Pack Collection. This includes:
- 1989 Nissan Pao
- 1991 Nissan Figaro
- 1989 Nissan S-Cargo
- 1987 Nissan BE-1
Release Date
With cross-platform multiplayer support, Forza Horizon 5 will be available for early access on April 25, 2025, for those who purchase the premium edition. Players can enjoy the standard edition starting April 29, 2025. With this, the game will finally be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
