Well! Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn now finally releases an official story trailer that’s full of furious action and epic battles, giving forerunners into the captivating world of Kian.
The game’s release is slated for July 18, 2024, on Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. It will also be included in Xbox Game Pass, so it’s definitely one to keep on your radar.
Meet the Gods
The trailer opens the doors and introduces us to the might of gods our protagonist, Nor, will have to bring low in her vengeance quest. Well, these aren’t your grandma’s mythological gods—their masters are fierce, unique, and strangely powerful.
Uru: The great winged guardian at the door to the Great Below, with his enormous wings and a poised outlook, gives us an idea of the magnitude and power this guardian breathes. It suggests that there will be an epic confrontation with Uru—one requires agility and strategic thinking to outmanoeuvre him.
Rammuha: The game introduces another god afterwards called Rammuha—a multi-armed god who despises and fears the bombastic power of gunpowder. What contributes to a complex calibre of danger for this god is the shot of Rammuha with all of his different weapons, striking in every direction. Nor, armed with explosively powerful flintlock weapons, will be causing another depth in this fight through strategy.
Nor and Enki :
The trailer also goes more in-depth into how Nor and Enki work together. Nor, armed with axes and flintlock weapons, engages in heavy fighting, showcasing both brute strength and tactical prowess. Within the visuals that create this dynamic combat experience is Enki, a mysterious fox-like god who uses magical abilities to assist Nor in the combat.
We see Enki manipulating the environment, healing Nor, turning out high-powered magic attacks against enemies. One of the main themes running through this trailer is the synergy between Nor’s physical and Enki’s magical attacks, showcasing this specific partnership and the strategic depth that it brings to the game.
Combat and Visuals
The combat scenes in this trailer are simply amazing. As shown, neither is fighting many enemies at a go—the melee attacks with axes and ranged with flintlock weapons. Fluid combat pacing and perfect integration of Enki’s magic result in something stunning.
The visuals are incredible, with environments ranging from lush green forests to desolate wastelands, all tapered out in a lavish style. Intricate character designs, tend toward gods, flutter about with imagination, and bring the Kian mythology to life.
Glimpse of Story
This trailer reveals not only combat but also the storyline. We see Nor and Enki starting on this journey, fueled by a desire for vengeance against the gods who had threatened their world. There’s an emotional charge behind Nor’s quest, tucked in there, that gives the lady some real depth and drive.
The interactions between Nor and Enki also allude to a deeper storyline, one of power, betrayal, and redemption. The trailer promises an epic tale that will hold the player’s interest from the beginning to the end.

The official story trailer of Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn is full of tasteful action, brilliant visuals, and a great storyline; more than an action RPG, it hints.
