Fantastic Four Comes to Marvel Rivals Season 1

It has been a month since the release of Marvel Rivals Season 0 and it has definitely slayed the gaming scene. With a player base as high as 2.2 million, there is no looking back for them. Marvel Rivals Season 1: Eternal Night Falls is set to be released soon, on January 10, 2024, and the hero roster for this Super-Hero Team-Based PvP Shooter is ready to expand more. A recent trailer drop from Marvel Entertainment confirmed the arrival of the Fantastic Four to its ever-expanding list of playable characters. As season 1 drops, we will also get to see new maps, a new game mode, and a battle pass which contains almost double the content as compared to Season 0. The Fantastic Four Characters

We can bet there is no Marvel Fan who does not know The OG Fantastic Four Superheroes. And with Season 1 releasing soon, we will have Mister Fantastic, Invisible Woman, Human Torch, and The Thing as playable heroes in New York, plunged into darkness. They come together, along with other characters to overcome the mystical darkness with their superpowers. Let’s dive deeper into what these new characters have to offer.

Mister Fantastic: Ah! Bow down to the leader. We have Mister Fantastic joining the squad of Marvel Rivals as a Duelist. With cellular elasticity and an ability to stretch beyond limits, he will now have to extend his boundaries to build the Timestream Reintegration Device to put a full stop to this cross-dimensional crisis.

Invisible Woman: Next up we have Susan Richards, the Invisible Woman who is coming to Marvel Rivals as a Strategist. Sue, the binding force who keeps the Fantastic Four as a family is all set to use her power of rendering herself invisible whenever needed to explore places none of the heroes can. Using her stealth to take up rescue missions saving the entrapped civilians, Invisible Woman is right there to compete with the darkness.

Human Torch: As the Fantastic Four are ready to enter Marvel Rivals, how can we not have the hotheaded Human Torch? Johnny Storm is coming to the game as a Duelist, using his fiery fire to light up the doomed New York and burn down Dracula’s legions.
The Thing: The backbone of the Fantastic Four, this gold-hearted Rocky Thing is coming to Marvel Rivals as a Vanguard. As New York is lost in darkness, he is making a rocking entry to Marvel Rivals to protect his home from the clutches of dark-winged Dracula.

What Else?

With the new season drop, Marvel Rivals is not only introducing new characters but also New Maps, a new game mode, and an all-new battle pass. Let’s have a look at them:

Marvel Rivals Season 1 is introducing three New Maps. These are Sanctum Sanctorum, Midtown (1st half of the season), and Central Park for the 2nd half.
The new season also features a new game mode called The Doom Match. In this, 8-10 players from different factions will battle on one single map. Each of these factions will compete against each other.
An all-new Battle Pass will unlock content double to what we had in Season 0.
Season 1 also introduces some character enhancements, boosting the abilities of Vanguards and Duelists.
