How to Fish in Fallout 76 New Update 

The new update adds a new quest for players looking to fish in Fallout 76. To start your leisure journey into the world of Fishing, start by heading over to Fisherman’s Rest. A New location in the Mire, with a bunch of new characters and quests. Find Captain Raymond Clark and start the new Casting Off Questline. By the end of the mission, players will receive a brand new handy Fishing Rod. 

How to fish in Fallout 76

After acquiring the fishing rod, players can walk up to any water body, and a ‘Fish ’ prompt will appear on screen. Players need to note that the new fishing equipment will not show up in their Pip-Boy menu. The fishing rod isn’t a equippable item (So no beating ghouls with a damn fish stick, sorry fans).

The new Gone Fission update is adding a whole plethora of side content to enjoy while players upgrade their fishing gear and skills. The new update will introduce Fishing Challenges and Daily Fishing Quests, each rewarding players with new rod styles, boober and reels. To catch bigger and more unique fish species, players will have to upgrade their fishing rods to certain levels.

With new fishing mechanics comes ways to show off your catch. One new item coming to your C.A.M.P. is the Fish display, a showcase to show off your fish catches and rare Axolotl finds. The new items will be available once players have completed the daily fishing challenges and quests.

The new update for Fallout 76 is now available for all platforms, including the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Players who already own a copy of Fallout 76 will be able to download the update on their devices today for free.
