F1 The Movie

From Apple Original Films and the filmmakers of Top Gun: Maverick, the action-packed feature F1 is set to hit theaters in IMAX on 27 June 2025. The F1 film has been shot during the actual Grand Prix weekends as the team competes with the titans of the sport. The film stars Brad Pitt as the lead actor, with Javier Bardem, Damson Idris, Kerry Condon, and more as co-actors.

The film is directed by Joseph Kosinski and produced by Kosinski, seven-time Formula 1 world champion Lewis Hamilton, Pitt, and others. It will be distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures. The trailer features the song “The Chain” by Fleetwood Mac, originally released in 1977. The film had a rumoured budget of about $300 million, placing it amongst one of the most expensive films ever made.
