Leaks and rumors have suggested that Elder Scrolls Oblivion Remastered is releasing on 21 April 2025, along with a Deluxe Edition. This release date has also been confirmed by Xbox support chat. The project had been under development for a while and the devs hadn’t dropped any official info on the subject. Bethesda, the creator of the original Elder Scrolls 4 Oblivion, was reportedly working on a remastered version of the game. Virtuos, the website that is in charge of this remastered version and is working with Bethesda on this project, reportedly published some images of Elder Scrolls 4 Oblivion Remastered on their website by mistake. Despite the website removing that page immediately, users were able to save the images and they circulated like wild fire on social media. The graphics seem to be created by Unreal Engine 5 as they look very realistic and attractive.
