Dream Cage is a rather small indie title with an emphasis on investigative gameplay, looping in memories, and anomaly detection. You the player take up the role of Robert, a person suffering from severe memory issues and plagued by paranormal activities through his apartment. The concept of the game is similar to Five Nights at Freddy’s with the player having to survive 5 relentless nights of horrifying encounters.
Every night will offer a new set of challenges to the players while they try to survive. Dream Cage will boast different entities throughout, with two revealed so far. One being a demonic woman with half of her face missing and a tall man with the lower part of his jaw hanging in place.

Indicating that the player will have to take the battery level into account and change them. (whoever was playing the demo kept on changing batteries like they were in Call of Duty).

The protagonist is seen taking pills to calm his senses as the game’s description states, he is an insomniac with sleep paralysis issues. The atmosphere of the game is truly unsettling, with a dimly lit apartment with posters and neon lights all over. The small apartment space feels claustrophobic and will cause some nerves to go cold for many.
The graphics look somewhat realistic and looks similar to many found footage types of video games. Players will have to survive five nights in their apartment and uncover the mystery behind their condition. All the while avoiding encounters with horrifying entities and their pursuit to haunt the player.
