Since its release Dragon Ball Sparking Zero has been a colossal hit amongst gamers. During the first 24 hours of its launch, the game had already sold over 3 million copies globally. Making it Bandai Namco’s one of the greatest offerings to the gaming world. Furthermore, the game also went on to break the record for the most-played fighting game ever, while still being in early access. Recently, Bandai Namco has revealed the first ever Dragon Ball Sparking Zero DLC and it’s called Hero of Justice Pack.
It will be available for download on January 23. Gamers are excited as the first add-on to the game was much awaited. Let’s talk about what this exciting DLC is bringing to the game.
The Trailer Breakdown
Bandai Namco Entertainment America posted an announcement trailer of the Dragon Ball Sparking Zero DLC on YouTube recently. In the beginning, you can see the new character Gamma 1 (the android) going head-to-head against one of the variations of Gohan called Gohan (SH). This is one of the four variations of Gohan that will be offered in this DLC.
The trailer then proceeds to display the second variation of Gohan, most likely Super Saiyan continuing the fight. You can also see the well-known and evil android Cell exchanging blows with Piccolo. As the trailer comes to an end you can see the the most exciting offering of this DLC, the Beast Gohan in the end.
What Does The Dragon Ball Sparking Zero DLC include?
Bandai Namco on X revealed that the Hero Of Justice DLC will add a total of 11 new characters, 3 custom battles, and 1 exclusive costume. Coming to the characters first, the new additions are:
- Gamma 1
- Beast Gohan
- Piccolo (Super Hero)
- Cell Max
- Gohan (Super Saiyan 2)
- Ultimate Gohan
- Giant Piccolo
- Gamma 2
- Orange Piccolo
- Piccolo Red Ribbon Army Disguise Costume
- Gohan (Super Hero)
- Piccolo (Potential Unlocked)
Next, what about the 3 custom battles? Well, Bandai Namco has not officially revealed anything regarding it. But if we were to make an assumption based on the reveal trailer, it could be a match between the son-father duo, Gohan and Goku, a fight between the Android characters, and most possibly a fight with the notorious enemy Cell. As far as the 1 exclusive costume is concerned, it is most likely for Piccolo.
Can I Get Early Access to the New DLC?
Bandai Namco also revealed that early access to the Hero of Justice DLC will start on January 21st at 00:00 CET / January 20th at 15:00 PST. This is for players who will buy the Season Pass for a price of ($34.99 ).
What Can We Expect?
For sure there are a lot of exciting additions in the Dragon Ball Sparking Zero DLC but the main selling point Bandai Namco is targeting is for sure the new variations of Gohan and Piccolo. Both of the characters have played a major part in shaping the world of Dragon Ball as we know it today. Not only this but for a long time fans of the game wanted to see Gohan in a new form.
