Early Access Requirements
To have early access to Civilization 7 you will need to shell out some cash and buy either the Deluxe Edition of the game or the Founder’s Edition. For people who already bought these earlier, the early access was available to them by default. Buying these editions will also give you access to additional content.
Deluxe Edition ($99.99)
This edition includes the following:
- Early access to the game
- Full base game
- Tecumseh and Shawnee Pack
- Crossroads of the World Collection
- Additional leader personas and cosmetic items
Founder’s Edition ($129.99)
This edition includes the following:
- Early access to the game
- Right to Rule Collection
- All Deluxe Edition content
- Founder’s Content Pack with exclusive leader personas and cosmetics

Players living in North America, the early access starts at the same time as on PC.

Preloading Options
Console Players: If you are a PS4, 5, Xbox Series X|S, One, and Nintendo Switch user you have the option to preload the game.
PC Players: Preloading is not available as of now. Therefore, you will have to wait till the game’s official release. Bummer!
Civilization 7: Release Date
The official release date for Civilization 7 is on February 11, 2025. The game will be available on the following platforms:
