There is already so much fresh content for the Black Ops 6 fans to explore and now one more feature is added to the list. The CODMAS. Season One Reloaded introduces the zombie map which is the Citadelles de Morts. Now, the fans also have a real-world holiday that they can enjoy with their favorite game. Let’s see what COD Black Ops 6 has in store for us.
CODMAS
The CODMAS event kicked off with the launch of Season One Reloaded on 5th December 2024. There are many changes this new content has brought with it that the fans can explore and sink into. In the multiplayer mode, fans can now enjoy the Nuketown Holiday map which has an amazing playlist that goes on 24/7. This iconic location was given a glow-up for the festive season with blankets of snow and cutesy Christmas decorations.
Thanks to CODMAS, there are new limited-time modes that will be added to the multiplayer in COD Black Ops 6. The Ran-sack mode will be a new festive version of the old smash-and-grab ransack mode. This new mode will replace the old gold bars system and replace it with a new cookies system. The cookies need to be stolen by the players and deposited for a win. An infectious holiday core multiplayer mode will also feature in CODMAS which will offer a comparable festive makeover to the Infected party mode.
What Happens to Citadelle des Morts?
There is a lot of spotlight on the Zombie map of Citadelle des Morts. However, this aspect of COD Black Ops 6 will also be getting a cutesy CODMAS makeover. You can look forward to the Liberty Falls set to receive its re-skin with a festive Jingle Hells mode from Cold War. The first major event that will feature this year will also be heavily zombie-themed to keep the craze going. You will need to keep playing and earn XP to unlock the zombie cosmetics like Light Mend ammo mod, Tesla Storm Field upgrade, and the Maelstrom Shotgun.
What Does Warzone Get?
COD Warzone will also be getting a few flecks of this festive CODMAS event. You can thank CODMAS for this. There will be two limited-time modes that will be added to the battle royal experience. In the Area 99 map, a holiday rush mode will also be added. This mode is a lightning-fast gameplay mode where you can throw snowballs surrounded by loot-filled Christmas trees in the environment. For the Urzikstan map, the players can enjoy the Slay Ride Resurgence limited-time mode. This map will have a train hijacked by Undead Santa which players will have to fight off to take control of the train again.

The official CODMAS was launched on the 5th of December 2024. However, there is another event that is set to come out on 19th December 2024. Keep an eye out for this one. Players will need to rack up their kills to unwrap some exciting rewards in Archie’s Festival Frenzy.
