A new map is coming to our favorite action game, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6! The game was officially released on 25th October 2024 and since then we have enjoyed its various aspects. With the return of Round-Based Zombies, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 features some really cool maps that give players a great chance to test their skills. Now, there’s a Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 new map being added to the experience. Let’s learn more about it.
New Map ‘The Tomb’
The developers, Treyarch, have revealed a new map in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 ‘The Tomb’ via official screenshots. This new map will be available at the launch of Black Ops Season 2. We can see how dark and eerie the map is which will make the gameplay much more fun. It contains catacombs, shrines, tombs, and more to give you some chills. Also, it contains skulls, and piles of bones, that make it give graveyard vibes at times.
Structure of ‘The Tomb’
‘The Tomb’ map consists of 9 areas. Each will be fun to explore and has a unique creepy vibe. They are created with great detail and look perfect for a great zombie match. Moreover, it can also get a little tricky to find your way through and you will have to figure out your own ideal routes and strategies.

Black Ops Season 2
Black Ops Season 2 will launch on 28th January 2025 with tons of new content for us to enjoy. Season 2 comes with a fresh storyline with the introduction of The Tomb, set right after the events of the Citadelle des Morts map. Reports from The Tomb hint at supernatural events that have plagued its depths for centuries. So, it seems like this new map is going to bring a lot of paranormal thrill and excitement to our plate.

Call of Duty Black Ops 6 Season 2 will bring along a lot more content at launch. We’re also expecting some more maps along with ‘The Tomb’.

Existing Maps
The game was launched with 16 maps, including 12 Core 6v6 maps and 4 Strike maps that can be played 2v2 or 6v6. This was a good chance for players to explore unique environments and test their skills in various modes. We were promised additional content with some new maps to be released later on, and now finally ‘The Tomb’ is revealed. It’s a treat to enjoy it in both single-player and multiplayer modes.
