Brawl Stars Tier List January 2026 – The Strongest Brawlers to Play

Trying to find the best brawlers? You’re not alone in this quest as millions of players worldwide are searching for them. In our extensive Brawl Stars tier list, we have ranked all the brawlers in separate tiers that signify their strength and usability. Since the meta of the game keeps changing so rapidly, it can be quite difficult to get your head wrapped around the idea of “best brawlers”.

Thankfully, we have ranked the brawlers based on the overall community rankings, so this negates any kind of misplay or bias. Further, we will keep updating the tier list as and when new brawlers are released, or adjusted (buffs/nerfs). Check out the complete Brawl Stars tier list below!

Brawl Stars Mortis Brawler

S-Tier Brawlers

The best of the best brawlers can be found in this tier. Due to the variety of brawlers and constant meta changes, the most powerful brawlers are usually those who have been recently buffed or released.

Rarely will you see a brawler who is old and climbs to this tier. If you have any of these brawlers unlocked, then make sure to utilize them as their strength in the current is unmatched. These brawlers are what you call “must pick” and meta-defining characters in Brawl Stars.

  • Mortis
  • Mandy
Brawl Stars Emz Brawler

A-Tier Brawlers

Brawlers who are present in this tier are quite strong and suitable as strong picks in the current meta. They can wipe out squads alone, provided there are suitable conditions. These characters are loaded with powerful abilities that can deal tons of damage. Or, they can be utility supports that can push your team ahead. If you’re a new player, consider picking any of these brawlers or unlocking them first. They certainly won’t let you down!

B-Tier Brawlers

In this tier, we have ranked some of the most commonly used Brawlers. Common in the sense that they are nothing special, and act as good starter characters for many players. While they can become stronger with a buff or two, they are also prone to becoming weaker in case of a nerf.

Hence, consider them your averagely powerful characters that can perform in the right hands. Keep in mind, your own skill expression also matters a lot when playing these quirky heroes.

Brawl Stars Pierce Brawler

C-Tier Brawlers

In this tier, we have kept those brawlers who are neither too strong nor too weak. Ok, a bit weak maybe. You see, like we mentioned before, skills of individual players matter a lot when playing these heroes. While for some players, a brawler might be C-tier, for others it might be B-tier if they are good with it.

Practice helps reach perfection, and Brawl Stars is a game that is a testimony of this statement. Brawlers in this tier are considered somewhat weaker than those in the B-tier, as seen by their pick and win rates.

Brawl Stars Dynamike Brawler

D-Tier Brawlers

Looking for which brawlers to avoid? Well, the D-tier houses a lot of them! Steer clear of these weaker characters as they are not being used by many players in the overall ranks. This can be due to many reasons. First and foremost, the brawler might be recently nerfed, and it reduced their pick rate drastically. Other reasons might be that the brawler is simply outscaled by the release of newer brawlers. Powerscaling is a real thing, and is seen rapidly in Brawl Stars.

Brawl Stars Jessie Brawler

F-Tier Brawlers

The worst of the worst! Avoid building and playing with the brawlers listed in this tier. They are simply too weak in the current meta, and will only hold you back. These characters have the worst win rates and pick rates out of all other brawlers. Hence, they are usually avoided even when open by many players. Personally, we would say that these brawlers are in desperate need of buffs to remain relevant in the game.

  • Sam
  • Sprout
  • Barley
  • Clancy

Brawl Stars Tier List Factors Explained

Inherently, it’s tough to form a tier list for a game like Brawl Stars. This is due to a variety of factors involving the brawler ratings such as rarity, performance in different game modes, and community rankings. To simplify all this, we took to one metric that defined this tier list – win rates!

Brawl Stars Game

Yes, each brawler’s overall win rate defined their place on the list. Now, this was an accurate way of judging them as the higher their win rate, the more in meta they were considered. Check out all the factors we took into account while forming our Brawl Stars tier list:

  • Rarity of the Brawler – The base rarity of the brawler definitely makes it easier for us to decide who to place in the higher tiers. This is because the higher the rarity of the brawler, the more base stats it has. Hence, effectively making it stronger than the lower rarity ones.
  • Win rate of the Brawler – Like we mentioned before, the win rate of the brawler is a key metric that we kept a track of while ranking brawlers in this list. Win rates are a true testimony of how a brawler is performing in the different game modes.
  • Community Rankings – We decided to take into account the different rankings prepared by community tier lists for all brawlers. This gave us more insight into how players at large feel brawlers perform in different game modes.
