Black Ops 6 Zombies Maps Details and more 

 The release of Call of Duty Black Ops 6 is just around the corner, and Treyarch seems to be going hard with the marketing and pre-buzz for the game. In the latest intel drop, Treyarch revealed some new updates about the Black Ops 6 Zombies Maps, Perks, HUD, and more. Call of Duty Black Ops 6 is all set to release on October 25th for the PlayStation 5, 4, Xbox One, Series X|S, and PC. 

Zombies Launch Map Details 

Liberty Falls 

To start things off, the Liberty Falls Zombies Map will be reworked to improve its atmospheric feel and vibe. Players can expect Liberty Falls to be a more creepier map than before, with Treyarch working towards visual tweaks and new environmental audio design. 

Liberty Falls will also see some tweaks to the atmospheric elements during its main quest line. The developers have also hinted at an Easter Egg song related to Treyarch’s Kevin Sherwood.  

Terminus Island 

Treyarch revealed many POIs (Points of Interest) for Terminus Island, including many locations throughout the map, such as Cells and Guard Station, Security Overlook and Control Center, Bio Lab, and more. The Island’s history dates back to WW2 and after it was used as a CIA Black Site. Terminus’s sinister roots go deep within the island’s core, with many mines and the horrifying Bio Lab. 

The Island is huge with many locations seemingly stretching out the the ocean and the outer banks of the island. The Requium crew will have to be on their toes to survive the mostrocitites that will hunt the players during the Zombie onslaught on the wretched Island. 

HUD Improvements & Changes 

The HUD for the Zombies mode will also see some improvements with the Treyarch’s UI team working to make the gameplay much smoother. These updates include: 

  • Default character portraits now appear in the lower-left corner.
  • Overall HUD alignment and color adjustments applied.
  • Perk icons are now positioned closer together.
  • Zombies-specific widgets introduced for certain in-game actions.
  • Added GobbleGum reward animation in-game.
  • New visibility sliders let players adjust or disable HUD elements like the Score Feed, Medals & Notifications, Minimap Opacity, Weapon & Equipment Information, and more.

These new changes to the game looks to improve the overall experience of the Black Ops 6 Zombies mode. Treyarch is constantly dropping new intel and creating hype around the game, and these updates look positive as Treyarch has highly been taking into account the Fan feedback. Call of Duty looks to be finally getting back into shape, with the next entry lining up to be one of the most awaited COD games in a while.
