Black Ops 6 Season 1 Adds New Weapons, Maps, Perks, and More Coming on Nov 14

When it comes to adding content to their games, Call of Duty blows any other title out of the park with just the sheer amount of content it adds to their games’ seasonal updates. With Black Ops 6 Season 1 just right around the corner on November 14, adding new weapons, maps, operators, perks, in-game events, and a boatload of content. With the integration of Black Ops 6 and Warzone, the game will see content drops throughout the seasons with mid-season updates and more. Let’s take a look at all the new goodies making their way into Call of Duty Black Ops 6 Season 1. 

New Weapons and Maps in Black Ops 6 Season 1

New Weapons: Seven new weapons are making their way into the hands of the players through Season 1,   including 4 new primary weapons, secondary weapons and two new melee weapons. Players will be able to access these weapons once unlocked through the level progression in the BO6 Multiplayer. Furthermore, four new special attachments for existing guns will add a bit more spice to combat in the game. 

New Maps: Four brand new maps will arrive on the launch of Season 1 on Nov 14 along with reworked and remaster version of a map form Black Ops 4 and 2 altered maps during the mid-season update.  

Hideout is a medium-sized training facility that follows the signature Black Ops design for team-based gameplay.  

Extraction is another medium-sized map set on the Avalon Heliport suited for all playstyles. 

Racket is a compact size map for those 2v2 or 6v6 fast-paced combat

Heirloom is one of the compact size maps for fast-paced action. 

The Hacienda map will return to BO6 after being introduced in Black Ops 4, along with a new festive-themed Nuketown map later in the season. 

Multiplayer Modes 

Ransack: Set on 6v6 Maps, Ransack is a new mode that will have two teams of players securing looting gold bars from crates around the map and bringing them back to their team’s stash. Players will have to guard their stash from the enemy team with the option to ransack the enemy’s stash as well. The mode will require team planning and coordination between looting and defending the gold bars. The first team to reach the score limit or have the highest score at the end of the match will secure victory. 

Prophunt: The infamous game of hide and seek makes its return in Black Ops 6 Season 1. Drop straight into the multiplayer maps as either props or hunters, play the game of cat and mouse with the props needing to blend into the environment by turning into random objects, or be the hunters and seek these props from hiding and destroy them before the time limit.

Hand Cannon Scorestreak/Support (MP, ZM, Launch): Powerful large caliber handgun with high bullet damage and penetration.

Shadow (Launch): Undetectable to enemy mines and traps 
Perk Type: Strategist – Slot 2 

Shrapnel Radar (Mid-Season): Dealing blast damage to enemies will reveal them on your minimap.
Perk Type: Recon – Slot 3
