Beta Weekend One Overview

The latest playlist update for the Black Ops 6 beta is live, players can now get their hands on the Face Off 6v6 game mode and two new maps, Pit and Gala 6v6 Strike. Face Off offers a twist on the already existing team deathmatch with the scorestreaks turned off in the new mode. Players can partake in these events throughout the weekend, including Face Off team deathmatch and Face Off kill confirmed modes. Players can also jump straight into the intense battleground of the new Pit and Gala maps in 6v6 setups.

New Maps

Black Ops 6 early access beta is now live with two new maps, which have been added to the playlist to keep things fresh and engaging with the players. The new maps are:

  • The Pit
  • Gala

The Pit map is dark and gritty, and it has many places to hide. It takes players deep into a small section of a Russian mining tunnel. The only natural light filter is a ventilation shaft running overhead, casting shadows across the rugged terrain. Players spawn near overturned mine carts that lead straight to the heart of the action.

In contrast, the Gala map offers a drastically uplifting setting. It takes place inside a lavish building with a fundraising event, complete with American flags draped from the ceiling and great lighting. Despite its upscale appearance, Gala is just as compact as Pit, guaranteeing fierce, close-quarters combat, taking full advantage of Black Ops 6’s new Omnimovement system. Together with the Stakeout map from the first weekend, Pit and Gala complete the lineup of eight maps available in the Black Ops 6 beta.

Weekend One Progression

During the first weekend of Black Ops 6, players will be able to level up to a maximum of level 20. As players earn an additional player level, they will be able to unlock more loadout gear once the Player Level 4 Milestone is complete and custom load-outs are available. The cap till Level 20 is for the weekend and will be lifted once the weekend One of the Early Access is over with on September 4th.
