Ubisoft is here with two big updates for Avatar Frontiers of Pandora! A Third Person Mode and a New Game+ are being added to the action-adventure game in December 2025. Avatar Third Person Mode
The new Third Person Mode in Avatar Frontiers of Pandora is dropping on 5 December 2025! The first-person shooter can now be played from a third-person perspective, which will just make the world of Pandora more adventurous. You will explore the vibrant game world from a new perspective and fight enemies while watching your character, Na’vi, as you play. This will help you watch her closely as she fights and enjoy the beautiful landscapes around.
This update comes with new animations, better controls, and a smoother camera system. The graphics look much enhanced from a third-person perspective, and you can switch views with just one button. Yes, you can enjoy both first and third-person views in the game, and switch whenever you want. This update is coming for free for all players and is dedicated to the action game’s third anniversary.
Avatar New Game+
Along with the third-person mode, a New Game+ mode is also added. It lets you replay the whole game and story with your current gear and skills. You do not have to start from scratch if you want to play the game again. Enemies will be tougher this time, but you get a new skill tree and stronger weapons to match. So, after finishing the game once, you can go for round 2 with the New Game+. This adventure game will become much more enjoyable with this new feature.
Past Story DLCs
Two story DLCs were also added to the game previously. You can enjoy the new game modes with these DLCs as well.
- The Sky Breaker: Na’vi will face the RDA, travel with the Zakru, and compete in the traditional Great Games.
- Secrets of the Spires: Na’vi will explore a new mountain area, meet a new Na’vi clan, and join forces with them for a new fight.
