The patch 1.0.4 by Ubisoft has added a new story and fixes several bugs in the game world, quests, combat, photo mode, and more.

New Free Story Pack: The Works of Luis Frois

A brand new story quest has been added to Assassin’s Creed Shadows. You’ll meet Luis Frois at a Jesuit Mission, where you will get a chance to help an old friend. You will need to find some lost notes, protect Lady Satoko, and learn more about the Jesuits. This free Story Pack can be played as either Naoe or Yasuke. To start the quest, go to Azuchi and find Luis south of the Merchants’ Quarters. The quest unlocks after finishing “The Path He Walks” on Yasuke’s board.

Codex Update: Character Entries

As requested by many, Ubisoft has added character bios in the Codex database to help players keep track of the many allies and foes they will meet throughout their journey in Japan.
