What are Lockpicks in Resident Evil Requiem?
Lockpicks help you break through locked drawers and doors in Resident Evil Requiem. There might be some useful items or locations in there which you need in the game. But without a key, you can’t get in there. And there’s where a lockpick comes in. You need to find the lockpicks first and then find the drawers or doors which can be unlocked through them. But remember, there are a total of five lockpicks in the game and each lockpick can only be used once. You will find them in five different locations scattered throughout the Care Center.
Lockpick Locations
You will find all five lockpicks in these locations. They are in the East Wing, West Wing, and Basement.
Lockpick 1: Lead Researcher’s Office (East Wing)
You will find your first lockpick in the East Wing in the Lead Researcher’s Office. It will be on top of a cabinet next to a lamp. You can use a torch to locate it accurately.
Lockpick 2: Custodian’s Office (West Wing)
You have to go to the West Wing to find your next lockpick and you will find it inside a locker in the Custodian’s Office. What you need is your Level 1 wristband to unlock the security door located south of the Kitchen. Once you are there, check all the lockers to find the lockpick.
Lockpick 3: Office (West Wing)
The third lockpick will be waiting for you in the office on the second floor of the West Wing. It will be on a desk sitting with a computer and a bunch of files. You will find a staircase in front of the Custodian’s Office to reach this Office and grab the lockpick.
Lockpick 4: Boiler Room (Basement)
The fourth lockpick is on the east side of the Boiler Room. You need to enter the room through the broken fence on the north side, or the water will shock Grace. Go to the northeast part of the Basement and insert the joint plug to open the path to the Boiler Room.
Lockpick 5: Basement
You will find the fifth lockpick is in a vent tunnel between the Workshop and the Inspection area. Use the Square Socket Wrench to open the vent from the Workshop or insert the joint plug near the Furnace to reach the vent. Then you need to crawl through the vent to find the lockpick on the floor.
Locations of Locked Drawers and Doors
Once you have the lockpicks, head to these locations to unlock drawers and doors in Resident Evil Requiem.
- East Wing Lobby (East Wing): A locked drawer in a cabinet on the south side of the room.
- Hallway south of the Restroom (West Wing): At the end of the first-floor corridor, near the Kitchen and sofas.
- Outside the Chairman’s Office (West Wing): A locked drawer next to the door on the second floor.
- Bunkroom (Basement): The left blue locker on the east side of the room.
- Inspection Room (Basement): The left blue locker on the northeast side of the room.
