Ravenswatch, a roguelike action game, came out on 26th September 2024, for PC, and is being greatly loved for its epic characters and fluid gameplay. It’s a dark reimagining of the fallen heroes of old legends who have to fight the Nightmare and prevent it from corrupting the world.
8. Gepetto
Gepetto is a hero in Ravenswatch who makes puppets to help him fight. He builds wooden puppets and controls them to attack bad guys for him. Geppetto can stay safe while his puppets do the fighting, and he can even make them stronger in battle. He’s really clever and uses his puppet friends to protect himself and his team, making him a fun and helpful hero to play with!
7. Franz
Franz, or the Pied Piper, is a hero in Ravenswatch who uses a magic flute to control rats. He plays music to make the rats help him fight bad guys. Franz can send lots of rats to attack or trap enemies, making him very smart in battles. So, when playing with friends, Franz’s rats and music make him super strong and helpful to the team.
6. Scarlet
Scarlet is a playable hero in Ravenswatch, and she is inspired by Little Red Riding Hood. She has dual characteristics: she is a pure swordswoman in daylight, but at night, she transforms into a furious werewolf with regeneration powers. She is highly courageous and even great in fights in both forms. She is dangerous and formidable in both the night and the day.
5. Melusine
Melusine makes up the great history of Siren mythology. She has the power to go underground and manipulate large water balls to threaten enemies in her way. With her water powers, Melusine is one of the key heroes who can make the bad guys run away! She can’t move and attack at the same time, so it takes practice to use her. Once players learn how to switch between her stances, she becomes super strong. Moreover, Melusine is even better at playing with friends because she will use her ranged attacks while her team distracts the enemies.
4. Aladdin
Aladdin takes on a darker role compared to his classic story, 1001 Arabian Nights. Here, he is a skilled warrior who fights the Nightmare to save the world. His special skill is that he can buff teammates, which is very useful in multiplayer modes, as he can give players an early advantage with his Wishes. He has short-range attacks and can make chain attacks with scimitars, his powerful blades.
3. Beowulf
Beowulf is a strong hero with a powerful sword, and he has a special friend who helps him fight bad guys. He’s a king who protects his people from monsters. Beowulf can defeat lots of enemies with his special powers, and his shield keeps him safe from attacks. He also has a cool spinning move to get in and out of fights, but it can sometimes be tricky to use. Although he has close combat, Beowulf is really powerful and one of the best heroes!
2. Nyss
Nyss, inspired by the Snow Queen, is a strong playable character in Ravenswatch. She is agile, ruthless, and has various special powers. Can freeze enemies and attack them while they are at their weakest. This proves her power against both individual enemies and groups. She is considered the strongest character in the game.
1. Sun Wukong
Wukong is the latest character in Ravenswatch who is the magical monkey king, and his unique playstyle lets him heal himself. He starts fast combat with his long staff and creates copies of himself to assist during fights. Wukong is super strong and can jump around really quickly and hit enemies before they even know what is happening. Furthermore, he’s quite shrewd and fun to play with as well, always staying one step ahead of enemies and their powers.
