In the game, each player can choose a unique operator, who is a special character with distinct gadgets and weapons. Matches take place in tight environments with breakable walls, floors, and ceilings. To win, players must prioritize communication, planning, and teamwork.

In addition, Siege X introduces players to 6v6 battles, where attackers and defenders fight side by side to capture enemy sectors while defending their own. The multiplayer FPS game also includes a new clearance level path that helps new players learn the basics, build skills, and gain confidence before diving into tactical action.
