New 3D Super Mario
The president of Nintendo of America, Doug Bowser, has given some interesting insights on the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 and the new 3D Super Mario game. He was interviewed by CNN, and when asked about any upcoming Mario games, he replied, ‘Stay tuned,’ which meant a new Mario game was actually under development. In Doug Bowser’s words, ‘Stay tuned. You know, we have a long, long catalogue, and a long list of (intellectual property) that I’m sure will make its way to the platform.’
Sequel to Super Mario Odyssey
The super popular Super Mario Odyssey, a 3D action-adventure platformer, has been a fan favorite since its release in 2017 on Nintendo Switch. It has been the highest-rated video game ever, and players still can’t get over it. Now, gamers are thinking that the upcoming Mario game could be a sequel to Super Mario Odyssey, and have better graphics and improved gameplay. The next-gen console Switch 2 will definitely feature next-gen games, and we are ready for it!
Nintendo Switch 2 Pre-Orders
As the Nintendo Switch 2 drops on June 5, 2025, the pre-orders begin on April 24. The price is $449.99 for the console and $499.99 for the Mario Kart World bundle. As Nintendo is incomplete without Mario games, we are expecting updates on more Mario titles soon. Moreover, popular games like Split Fiction, Cyberpunk 2077, Civilization 7, Hogwarts Legacy, Elden Ring, Star Wars Outlaws, and more are coming to the console on release.
